I am(sterdam): afternoon out

I had planned to see the capital for a while. Last time I was in Amsterdam it was in September when I flew back from Barcelona, but I had no time to visit the centre of the city then.

Het Loo: A Place to Visit

I received a while ago from my grandma a ticket for the Het Loo Palace (thank you Buna). It is located in the heart of the Netherlands, outside Apeldoorn. Het Loo underwent a restauration since 1984 and recently it has been open to the public. The Orange family has been living and working here in the last 300 years.

I arrived in Spain on the 2nd of September. I had slept the previous day in hotel Van der Valk Schiphol. At 4 AM I was already up because 30 minutes later the shuttle bus would bring me to the aiport. The journey was uneventful. I had a short delay but manageable.
