Safari Park: Rekindled Love for the Animals

I was very happy to be invited to visit the Beekse Bergen safari park with my Dutch family. Last time I was there was a couple of years ago, but I had forgotten almost everything about the park and the animals. What I could remember was that the first time I went there, five years ago,  I saw that the elephants were not light blue but grey. That was really a disappointment. I remember being laughed at for thinking they were that colour.

Eating plant-based: 3 months milestone

Going vegan was a long process for me. It started last year when I followed a course in Ethics. One of my classmates chose to write a paper about the way animals are treated, from the moment they are born till death, when they become food for humans. I was moved when I listened to her presentation, seeing gruesome pictures and appalling facts about the inhumane treatment undergone by animals.

Simona Halep: No.1 in the World

I woke up this morning very confident for the fact that Halep might indeed beat Ostapenko. I was not entirely aware of the possibility of becoming world no.1, in case she won. I just wanted her to take revenge for what happened this summer at French Open in the finals. Also in that match she had the chance of becoming the first Romanian female tennis player to ascend to the top of the ranking.
